Days 17 and 18 in Madagascar: June 5-6, 2016

Today we started our long travel home. As we started our long journey to the airport, we stopped at a local bakery and bought some yummy pastries and ate those for breakfast. Then we went to a market, which was basically tourist row because you would get swarmed with vendors trying to get you to buy their stuff. Although they had some pretty neat stuff I ended up just buying  vanilla beans, vanilla powder and a scarf. After that we headed to the airport and exchanged what little money we had left.We stood around the airport for an hour and a half because we weren’t allowed to check in until 12:30. Once through security we stopped for lunch and ate some very American lunch. Our plane rides home were very smooth and stress-free.

Once I was home it was so nice to see my family and relax in the comfort of my own home.
